snake.io combines modern art with the oldest classic snake game mechanics. Start as a small worm and try to get bigger by eating. Make your way through the food fields and try to beat the scores of other players. How long can you survive in this world of snakes eating snakes?
Basic elements of the game
- Snake: The player controls a snake that keeps moving forward. You can control the direction of the snake's movement by touching the screen or dragging your finger (if you play on a mobile phone) or by moving the mouse (if you play on a computer).
- Food: Small dots or other objects that the snake eats appear on the screen. When a snake eats food, it grows in length. A larger snake has an advantage, but becomes more difficult to control.
- Collisions: If your snake hits another snake's body, you lose the game and your snake turns into food for other snakes to eat. If other snakes hit your body, they lose, and you can eat their food and grow even more.
- Multiplayer aspect: Play in real time with other players around the world. The goal is to survive as long as possible and become the biggest snake on the server.
- Strategy: The game requires strategy and quick reflexes. You can use tactics like circling other snakes or forcing them to hit your body to survive and grow.
