At its core, Breakout Champion retains the familiar mechanics: the player controls a horizontally moving platform (or "stick") at the bottom of the screen, bouncing a ball toward the top of the screen to break various blocks. The goal is to break all the blocks on a level without letting the ball fall below the platform.
The game starts out simple – the ball bounces evenly and the blocks are easy to break. However, as you progress through the levels, new elements are introduced that make the game more challenging and varied.
